About the Smile Thread Lift Procedure
How is a Smile Line Thread Lift Done?
A smile line thread lift involves inserting medical-grade threads created especially for providing volume into the subcutaneous layer of the skin of the frontal part of the cheeks, which fill in wrinkles, acting like volume filler. The thread ends are then trimmed so as not to be visible from the surface of the skin. The volumized effect is achieved thanks to the shape of the threads, which are spiral-like in form and push the depressed skin outwards from the inside, as well as encouraging the skin’s natural collagen production. Over time, these threads dissolve, meaning thread removal is not necessary.

Lifting Threads OR Volume Threads
For individuals with shallow wrinkles and good skin elasticity, smile lines can be improved by inserting collagen volume threads or lifting sagging areas with only a few threads. Adjusting the insertion direction or number of threads is often sufficient for effective results.
