How is a Forehead & Eyebrow Thread Lift Done?
A forehead and eyebrow thread lift involves inserting medical-grade cog threads created especially for lifting into the subcutaneous layer of the skin, and then lifting and pulling it into the desired position. Depending on the area that requires lifting, the thread insertion sites can be located along the brow, above the eyebrow to lift sagging skin over the eyes, or along the hairline to lift the forehead. The thread ends are then trimmed so as not to be visible from the surface of the skin.
The lifting effect is achieved thanks to small cogs on the threads that hold the skin in position after being lifted, as well as encouraging the skin’s natural collagen production. Over time, these threads dissolve, meaning thread removal is not necessary.
