Post-Procedure Care Instructions

[Post-Procedure Care]

  • The tightened and lifted skin will return to normal within 3 to 4 weeks after the procedure. Starting from the first month, the threads will settle in place and begin to dissolve, with the effects gradually appearing as the threads continue to absorb over approximately 8 months.
  • From the day of the procedure to up to 2-3 weeks afterward, it is essential to apply cold compresses to the entire face.
  • Customers who have undergone lower face thread lifting can purchase a “lifting band” or “contour band” from a nearby pharmacy or through Coupang. Wearing it consistently for a month while sleeping or staying at home will greatly help reduce swelling, residual swelling, and discomfort.
  • Avoid alcohol, smoking, sauna, jimilbang, and lymphatic massage for 7 days after the procedure.
  • Cleansing foam and shampoo can be used starting the day after the procedure.
  • Do not forcibly remove the patch; it should be taken off naturally after 2-3 days.
  • After removing the patch, apply eye ointment once or twice a day for 5 days, then switch to a scar ointment.
  • Take the prescribed antibiotics as directed, and avoid any other herbal medicine for 2 weeks.
  • Lifting lasers and skin-related treatments can only be done at least one month after the procedure.

[Post-Procedure Care]

  • The threads will begin to settle and dissolve over the course of 1-2 months, and any symptoms during this period are temporary, so there is no need to worry.
  • During the first 1-2 months after the procedure, the lines may temporarily appear asymmetrical or uneven. Depending on the area, wrinkles may look deeper than before the procedure or appear the same as they did before.
  • You may not experience swelling or pain immediately after the procedure, but sudden swelling and pain can occur within a few days or 1-2 weeks. This is also a temporary symptom caused by the threads settling, so there is no need to worry.
  • Unlike the immediate results seen on the day of the procedure, the swelling on both sides may reduce at different rates.
  • During the procedure, the injection of anesthetic may cause temporary facial swelling, a bumpy sensation in the temples, difficulty closing the eyes properly, or an appearance of lifted eye corners.
  • The treated area may temporarily appear raised, similar to acne or pimples.
  • Headaches, pain at the crown of the head, a sensation of a foreign object when moving, a feeling of tightness, and difficulty opening the mouth are natural symptoms that may occur after the procedure. (The intensity of the pain may vary from person to person.)
  • After forehead and eyelid thread lifting, the treated areas may temporarily appear asymmetrical, or the outer or inner corners of the eyes may look lifted.

[Recovery Progress Information]

It is not possible to check the progress within one month after the procedure. If there are any discomforts 1-2 months after the procedure, you can visit the clinic for a consultation with the doctor in charge. If you desire additional effects or are subjectively dissatisfied with the results, additional charges may apply for further procedures.
